PRIDE project of MDPOD observed the International White Cane Safety Day at Harirampur Upazila jointly Manikganj Social Service Department, MDPOD and Harirampur Upazila Protibondhi Unnoyon Parishad on15 October 2021. The discussion meeting was chaired by Abdul Karim- President of Harirampur Upazila Protibondhi Unnoyon Parishad where speech delivered by Noman Shibli-representative on behalf of Chief Guest from Manikganj Social Service Department, Abul Bashar Sobuj, Formal President of Harirampur Upazila Protibondhi Unnoyon Parishad; Barshik presentatives and Animesh Toju-Coordinator & Focal Person of PRIDE project of MDPOD funded by DRRA. On the occasion of the day 4 smart white-canes, two elbow crutch were distributed to disabled persons with the courtesy of Manikganj Social Service Department.
