Home-based Therapy /Referral Service
Home based therapy is a regular activity of MDPOD to meet the needs of therapy service for the PwDs and their families. MDPOD therapy provider staff provides this service at PwDs’ homes on routine basis at the grassroots level under the working areas. Besides therapy services, provided health counsel and provided information about different sources of therapy facilities as well as other facilities. Total 300 PwDs (such as physical, intellectual, cerebral palsy, stroke etc) children with disabilities and other disabilities received therapy services, health counseling and CwDs were need based referred to different hospital/clinics/health centers and educational institutes from MDPOD in Manikganj Sadar and Horirampur Upazila PRIDE project.
