Manikganj Disabled People’s Organization to Development (MDPOD) is a right-based development organization of the disabled people.
About MDPOD
It is a non-profitable and non-government organization of, by and for the disabled persons. It was established with the initiative of Md. Antaj Ali (current Director) and a group of Persons with Disabilities (PwD) in 2003 in Manikganj district of Bangladesh. It has been working for positive changes to reduce negligence, discrimination, barrier, increase accessibility and to establish rights of PwDs’ socio-economic development, self-reliant through mainstreaming. It aims to increase participation of PwDs from grassroots to national level through positive change of the society that enable to contribute for the national development.
