A daylong orientation on disability screening for baseline survey was conducted on 21 December 2020 by MDPOD under the PRIDE Project, funded by Lilliane Fonds, Netherland. A total of 16 Community Resource Volunteers, CHCP, Health, Family welfare staff and CG at Upazila Health Complex Hall Room in Horirampur. Total 16 participants attended the session and oriented with prescribed survey format by the expert therapist Md. Nayeem Nizam Mujunder Rafi and Md. Rifatur Rahman.
MDPOD was established with the initiative of Md. Antaj Ali (current Director) and a group of PwD in 2003 in Manikganj district of Bangladesh. It has been working for positive changes to reduce negligence, discrimination, barrier, increase accessibility and to establish rights of PwDs’ socio-economic development, self-reliant through mainstreaming.
