The 4th IRP camp for children with disabilities (CwDs) of PRIDE Program of MDPOD, funded by DRRA-LF was held on 11 December 2021 at Danistorpur CC and Agrail CC at Harirampur Upazila, Manikgank to develop Individual Rehabilitation Plan (IRP), conducted by Dr. Monir Ahmad Azad, Consultant of Physiotherapy & Clinical Physiotherapist of Manikganj Seba o Sahajya Kendro (JPU), and Dr. Muksed Ali, Medical Officer of Harirampur Upazila Health Complex.
MDPOD was established with the initiative of Md. Antaj Ali (current Director) and a group of PwD in 2003 in Manikganj district of Bangladesh. It has been working for positive changes to reduce negligence, discrimination, barrier, increase accessibility and to establish rights of PwDs’ socio-economic development, self-reliant through mainstreaming.
