Inclusive Awareness Meeting of PRIDE project conducted by MDPOD at Harirampur, Manikganj: Support and Funded by DRRA-LF, Netherlands.
Awareness Meeting on Inclusive Education has been held on 23 November 2021 at Ujan Boira Government Primary School, Andharmanik, Harirampur Upazila in Manikganj. A total of 28 teachers, parents and SMC members including Head Teacher of the school participated in the meeting and shared opinions on inclusive education in the light of the Disability Rights & Protection, and UNCRPD. The head teacher Mr. Nirmol Kumar Chowdhury shared that there are two children with disabilities in his school and the teachers are trying to teach equal lessons in the class. He also share lacking of knowledge to teach visual impaired students as they have no training knowledge on the issue.
The meeting has been presided over by MDPOD Chairman- Mr Anwar Hossain and moderated by Mr. Animesh Toju-Coordinator (General), FP-PRIDE project of MDPOD.
